Urban Hive Milano

Amazing location, super friendly staff. The reception staff were incredible I asked for many things during my stay and they did not hesitate to help immediately from car service to restaurant booking to directions and train timings. I would highly recommend this hotel for location and staff service. Rooms were ok I would say average for Milan and breakfast was also average for Milan.

Every good thing I would say is already in reviews, that is why I chose this hotel. Location is wonderful, next to metro and close to Porta Garibaldi train station from which you can catch a train to Malpensa airport or Genoa like we did. Staff very friendly, bed super comfortable, quality breakfast except maybe coffee not super. They fitted almost every amenity in a relatively small space, except perhaps iron. No worries they have no drawers, instead a large stand to lay your suitcase open so it serves you as a drawer. Mosquito repellent provided at reception if asked. Very convenient hotel, again, location is so good in so many ways, and the overall ambiance is positive and welcoming. Would gladly return to Milan and this particular hotel. Thank you for all your efforts, thoughtful design and nice staff, and of course very cute birthday surprise!

The hotel exceeded my expectations. It's cool and trendy without being overdone. The hotel staff was absolutely lovely on all occasions and very helpful with any inquiries we had. We had two rooms, one for a couple and one twin. Both were excellent. The twin especially since we got an unexpected outside patio! My pet peeve is usually bad air conditioning in otherwise nice locations, but it was superb in our room! It never got uncomfortably stuffy or too hot/too cold. The beds are firm (the nice kind of firm)! Our rooms were on the 1st floor above the restaurant and lobby but the room was still nice and quiet! We could hear a tiny bit of music, but very low and barely audible. The rooms were always spotless and clean. A nice touch was the water station on every floor that has filtered water where you can refill your water bottles. They do not have any plastic bottles in the rooms. The breakfast was delicious. The staff asks you what coffee you'd like and prepare it for you (included in breakfast). The scrambled eggs were especially good, each in their own cast-iron pot so they stayed yummy! Try it with the cooked tomatoes and mushrooms!

This hotel is simply amazing and the location couldn’t be better! I’ve been to Milano around 15 times prior to this trip, but I’d definitely try and book this hotel again in my next visit. If you’re looking to stay in the heart of the city without it feeling too touristic (walking to Duomo takes 15-20 mins), this is the perfect place! It’s clean, modern and well equipped with great attention to detail (the shower gel, soap, etc. comes from a high end brand, each room is equipped with a coffee machine and lovely chocolate). What made this stay even better is the staff - it started with the lady at the check-in, super nice and helpful with some great local tips and finished with the amazing bar staff, which went above and beyond to let us taste wines and whiskeys and was extremely pleasant and warm. Grazie mille and hope to be back soon!

I absolutely loved everything about this hotel! A big thank you to the reception team—they were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The hotel is so clean and modern, and the location is perfect. It’s about a 20-minute walk to Duomo, and the area is very safe, with plenty of cafes, restaurants, and shops. Thank you, Urban Hive Milano, for making our stay in Milan unforgettable. We will definitely be back!
